Mr. Yau Yiu Chung
Biography
Mr. Yau Yiu Chung, aged 62, has built a professional career spanning personal finance, advisory services, and professional accountancy education. He commenced his career as an Accounting Officer with a property investment company, before moving into financial planning, where he developed client-facing advisory experience. From 2006 to 2016, Mr. Yau has been engaged in academia as a full-time lecturer at the Vocational Training Council and part-time lecturing across multiple institutions. He has also served as a Workshop Facilitator for the Qualification Programme of The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“HKICPA”) since 2008. He currently works in math-related training.
Mr. Yau is a fellow of the HKICPA. He graduated from the University of Queensland, Australia with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Statistics in 1991. He obtained his master degrees in Business Administration and Professional Accounting from Griffith University, Australia in 1997 and 1998 respectively.
